Building homes that last and perform well are essential to us, so we know we have to get every detail right in the design and the execution.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented **part-time contract Bookkeeper** to work 10-15 hours per week virtually to support the financial aspects of the company. The main responsibility of this role is to manage our accounts, invoices, simple payroll, and accounts receivable to ensure all financials are handled accurately. The role will include working independently with weekly meetings to provide updates and gather information.

**About the Role**
- Managing all company bookkeeping tasks through full-cycle accounting
- Quarterly GST reporting with CRA online
- Managing Quickbooks Online and integrating costs from BuilderTrend
- Completing all invoicing to clients
- Managing all accounts payable and receivable including follow-up on overdue accounts
- Assisting with payroll through WagePoint
- Providing all WCB information with on-site trade
- Coordinating with Accounts during year-end financials
- Understanding and handling shareholder accounts
- Approximately 10-15 hours per week

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary Diploma or certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping is an asset
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online is required
- Experience with BuilderTrend and WagePoint an asset
- Effective communication skills, ability to communicate with customers and team members
- Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple competing priorities and provide a high standard of quality work
- Strong attention to detail and process-oriented
