**Responsibilities**:
- Record all financial transactions using QBO
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Maintain accurate records of all employee payroll transactions
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Prepare GST, PST, WCB, and Payroll Remittances
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and employees regarding financial transactions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the owner
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in QBO
- Required to take a skills test
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Excel & One Drive
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
**Salary**: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
