**HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN with pump experience**

ICD is currently seeking a Journeyperson/ Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician to support their growing needs. This position is in Fort McMurray with an attractive fourteen (14) day rotation, working twelve (12) hour days with rotating day and night shifts. ICD provides a fly in fly out from Edmonton and Calgary area's. Camp is provided and we offer competitive wages along with a benefit and RSP plan.

**Some duties required for this position include, but are not limited to**:

- Inspecting, diagnosing and performing major and minor repair work on motors, pumps, hydraulic equipment, compressors, controls, valves, and other related equipment.
- Inspecting, adjusting, and replacing necessary equipment, units, and related parts in the performance of repair and maintenance work.
- Providing emergency field assistance to disabled equipment as needed and appropriate.
- Rotate through shop and field assignments as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed and equipment deficiencies.
- Participate in the development of, and the ability to follow maintenance procedures and instructions.
- Participate in safety programs and adhere to site safety standards.
- Safely operate company provided equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Mechanic
- A Valid Driver's License with clean drivers abstract.
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups.
