Acadecap International School and Jacla Research are currently seeking a detail oriented Finance Administrator.
Description:
This in person role will entail a combination of finance, HR, and operational responsibilities. The Finance Administrator works closely with the Treasurer and Director as part of the administrative team.
- AR/AP
- Payroll (including keeping track of hours, absences, and vacation)
- Regular bank deposits
- Audits
- Data Entry
- Contract preparation and review (employment, tuition, supplier, leases and rentals)
- Receipts (tax and donation receipts)
- Client care re: tuition
- Reviewing/approving job orders for regular supplies/service
- Preparing letters of acceptance (for international students) done with Admissions and Director
- Other operational responsibilities will be assigned as required
- Good knowledge of Accounting/bookkeeping
- Proven experience and proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (additional QuickBooks training available)
- Knowledge of labour laws
- Knowledge of rental property/property management is a plus
There are 2 locations where work will be completed.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.50-$23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
