We are looking for a
**_Outsourcing Coordinator_**

Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director, Administration, the incumbent manages translation requests sent to the provider of translation services.

**What you will do**
- Pick up translation requests most suitable for outsourcing based on predetermined criteria, including cost efficiency, send these requests to the provider and manage them from end to end
- Answer questions and requests for clarifications from the provider or redirects these requests to the resource (internal client, SME, translator, terminologist or else) best placed to answer
- Handle changes made to original file while translation is underway
- Make required changes to translation memories and files following revisions or edits done by people outside of the Translation team (proofreaders, clients, etc.)
- Manage incoming translation requests, communicate with clients if a request is not in good order, negotiate target dates
- Handle invoicing from the vendor. This includes month-end billing, reconciliation and reporting provided on a timely fashion to Accounts Payable so that clients can be charged back based on cost centers used
- Report problems noticed in the documents to translate by the vendor to clients and agree on a course of action with them. Handle layout issues

**What you will bring**
- University degree in Translation or equivalent;
- At least two years of experience in a translation environment;
- Ability to express yourself well in French and English, both orally and in writing;
- Excellent communication skills with clients, colleagues and business partners;
- Superior knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software;
- Experience with FlowFit, Trados Studio and Logiterm;
- Good ability to learn and adapt to change;
- Ability to multitask and set priorities;
- Sound judgment;
- Sense of organization and autonomy;
- Sense of customer service;
- Attention to detail;
- Team player.
