Legal Clerk

Conduct legal research on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, labor law, and healthcare-related matters that impact the company.
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents under the guidance of senior attorneys.
- Assist in reviewing policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to industry regulations and laws.
- Support the legal team in resolving legal disputes, including preparing documents and evidence for arbitration, mediation, or litigation.
- Monitor and analyze changes in healthcare regulations, labor law, and other legal areas relevant to the business.
- Assist in preparing legal documents for mergers, acquisitions, or other corporate transactions.
- Help maintain legal records and documentation, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements.
- Attend internal meetings to provide legal insight and assist in strategy development.
- Support day-to-day activities of the legal department as needed, including managing calendars, filing, and document organization.
- Communicate with outside counsel and regulatory agencies on various legal matters.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently enrolled in law school or have recently graduated with an equivalent degree.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, contracts, healthcare law, and legal research.
- Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex legal concepts.
- Previous legal internship or clerkship experience, particularly in a corporate or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, HIPAA compliance, and other related laws is a plus.
**Work Environment**:
- The Law Clerk will work within company's corporate legal department, collaborating with other team members to address legal needs across various departments, including HR, compliance, and business development.
- The position is based at our corporate office
**Pay**
$20 -$30 per hour
