The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the North American and International HR teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide HR support to teams in North America and Internationally-
- Facilitate onboarding process to ensure new hires are set up for success.- Maintain human resources information and related records in compliance with applicable legislation.- Assist with guiding employees through various human resources processes, answering any questions they may have about Company policies and procedures.- Oversee and enter employee data into Workday, while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality- Prepare HR related documents, such as employment agreements, promotional change letters, confirmation of employment letters, etc.- Assist with the offboarding process of departing employees, including conducting exit interviews.-
- Support HR team with general administration, including generating reports.- Other duties as assigned.
Experience- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources- 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources- Working knowledge of HR legislation and best practices in Ontario/Canada- Tech Savvy with proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint- Highly organized self-starter with a strong attention to detail- Demonstrated team player who is results oriented and resourceful.- Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization as well as external stakeholders.- Ability to handle a wide variety of situations professionally with confidentiality, sensitivity, diplomacy and tact.- Experience with Workday considered an asset.

This is a temporary (12 month contract) role based out of Smiths Falls.
