The Shipping & Receiving Associate will process shipping and receiving requests as directed by the Warehouse Manager. This role performs inventory counts as assigned to confirm stock levels; cleans and checks equipment for usability; actively loads and unloads inventory transport vehicles; schedules shipments as assigned; and is responsible for the cleanliness and general maintenance of the warehouse facility.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring stock levels are accurate and regularly audited

2. Oversee and manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and on time

3. Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations

4. Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure the correct items are received and report any discrepancies or damaged goods.

5. Assist the Procurement Manager with resourcing vendors for warehouse supplies or project-related materials, including comparing prices to ensure cost-effectiveness.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Grade 12 is an asset.

**- **Direct field experience with Remediation, Abatement, Emergency Response or Demolition is required.
- Forklift License required
- Asbestos Handling
- Level 1 First Aid
- Familiar with driving 2-Ton Truck
- ERP Knowledge
- Ability to learn and develop an understanding of equipment / tools functionality.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Outlook is an asset.
- Must be able to work independently or within a team setting.
- Positive attitude, punctual

**Physical Abilities**:Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (up to 50 lbs.). Must be able to climb stairs and stand for extended periods of time.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Type of Employment: Full-time, 14 month contract with a possibility of conversion into a permanent role, 5-days a week, Monday to Friday 7AM-4PM.
- Work is primarily in a warehouse environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
