Swimming Pool Technician

**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive company provided vehicle to various job sites within Durham Region
- Pool openings and closings as well as installation/removal of pool covers
- Assisting with pool equipment plumbing, installation of new equipment and trouble shooting and repair of existing equipment
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balancing, equipment checks and cleaning
- Help transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites. Some Heavy Lifting required
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead technician or supervisor
- Inspect pool equipment for functionality and safety, addressing any issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients regarding their pool needs and maintenance schedules. Communicate professionally with team members
- Document all services performed and report any additional repairs or concerns to management
**Qualifications**:
- A valid G license is required
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required
- Some mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
