Dragados Canada, Inc., the Canadian construction arm of the ACS Group (one of the world’s largest international construction and engineering companies), is seeking a talented and experienced Material Quality Coordinator to join its dynamic and energetic team.

Dragados Canada was established in 2008 and has grown steadily into an industry leader in Canada, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, successfully performing a variety of large-scale transportation, bridge, dam, tunnel, and other major infrastructure projects.

**NOTE: This role is a 6-month contract position with the possibility to be extended.**

**Summary**

Highly organized individual with the technical aptitude to review material submittals and delivery documents. This individual will be required to perform tasks in both QA & QC capacities.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for Material Receiving & Delivery Approvals
- Prepare and maintain quality records pertaining to their assigned portions of work
- Fully execute the RMR process, keep the log up to date and submit to the client at required intervals
- QA/QC
- Step verification and Tracing
- Establish control of inventory for materials. Ensure Buy America materials are being received & logged and foreign products are added to the waiver schedule
- Assist with offsite verification QAI checks as required
- Manage the storing of material to ensure material is being stored according to plans by conducting site surveillance and communicating non-compliances to the individuals responsible
- Work jointly with Quality Personnel and sub-contractors in the Receiving Material process inclusive of field inspections
- Perform field inspections to verify the material is stored per manufacturer recommendations and construction specifications
- Ensure all permanent material on site has the appropriate BNA tag
- Be a champion of BNA QMS
- Be a champion of BNA Safety - Submit weekly Hazard IDs and immediately Report Safety concerns to the site superintendent or management
- Prepare Quality completion packages (ITP) for QA Manager review
- As requested, attend Quality and Construction related meetings
- Provide a weekly summary to Material Manager (Log status, Deliveries, RMRs, Challenges, Observation)
- Submit Logs to eBuilder per designated timelines
- Understand and operate in accordance with company programs, policies and legislative requirements to ensure that environmental standards and performance objective targets are met
- Other duties as determined by management

**Qualifications**
- Up to 3 years of progressive experience in QA/QC Inspection field
- Familiar with Material/equipment logistics, material receiving, storage, preservation and delivery
- Familiar with the use of databases for material accountability, traceability, records keeping
- Design-Build or P3 Experience on Infrastructure Projects
- Experience working in a technical receiving environment is considered an asset
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated strong teamwork ethics organizational, and decision-making skills
- Passionate team player with the willingness to help other team members
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment with changing and competing priorities
