**Job Overview**
As a Quality Assurance Technician / Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems while adhering to industry regulations such as ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will help drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that our products meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
**What you’ll do**
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and CGMP standards.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to assess compliance with HACCP principles and other regulatory requirements.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform thorough quality inspections.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends in product quality and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Oversee the operation of vision inspection systems to ensure product specifications are met consistently.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and present them to management for review.
**Basic qualifications**
- Must be a Permanent Resident (PR holder) in Canada.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ QA/QC experience in manufacturing (plastics, packaging, or food preferred).
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and FSSC 22000 systems.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes, including QA/QC methodologies.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments for accurate product assessment.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data collection and analysis techniques.
**Preferred qualifications**
- Experience working within regulated environments adhering to FDA regulations.
- Familiarity with quality systems related to manufacturing processes.
- Previous experience conducting quality audits or inspections is highly desirable.
