**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist patients and visitors as they arrive at the office, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for the office, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date patient records and information in our computerized systems.
- Handle clerical duties such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining a clean front desk area.
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure seamless communication and support for patient care.
- Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification as needed, providing necessary information to patients.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist is **required** (VMR course is an asset)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- A customer-oriented mindset with the ability to provide outstanding support in a busy environment.
