Reporting to the Executive Director, Corporate Services and Client Experience, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing financial operations, with a focus on integrating corporate information. The duties of this position include overseeing day-to-day management of the finance team’s activities, processing payroll, preparing budgets, projections and account analysis. You will lead an internal audit effort to ensure WSN’s financial systems, processes and controls provide the appropriate level of integrity and oversight.

You have obtained a post secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Commerce, Business Administration in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, complemented with a minimum of 7 years progressive experience in financial reporting, strategy and systems oversight, demonstrating a strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards and regulatory compliance. Experience in a non-profit organization or in using Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (ASNPO) is preferred. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or the ability to obtain, is required. A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is considered an asset. Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language is required.
