**Marketing Assistant**
- Under the general direction of the Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for assisting with completing large projects such as monthly promotional sell sheets, onboarding new brands and products, maintaining our website, planning large events and various other duties. This position will also assist in executing social media plans and advertising campaigns to support various site marketing activities. They will adhere to policies and procedures, motivate and lead by example and support Manchester Pet Supplies learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work space for all team members. Our Marketing Assistant must know how to relate well with members of the staff, customers and brand representatives.

**Marketing Assistant duties and responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with Marketing and Sales Manager to develop innovative ways of gaining exposure for Vendor products - including Sell Sheets for Sales Team, Banners on website and Social Media posts.
- Providing Retail stores with Vendor related Marketing materials.
- Submitting ideas for experimental marketing programs created to enhance and grow the brands of the company.
- Helping in the development of ways to improve marketing campaigns and monitoring active marketing programs.
- Assisting with the maintenance of database systems, social media accounts and website.

**Marketing Assistant skills and qualifications**:

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- High level of organization and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and multitask
- Ability to communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
- Ability to write marketing literature to augment the presence of the company in the market

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
