Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service? Do you have experience in live chat support and a technical background in engineering products and software? If so, we want you to join our team as a Live Chat Assistant.

As a Live Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing technical support and offering solutions to our customers through our live chat platform. You will document customer interactions, collaborate with other teams within the company, and stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to customer inquiries via live chat in a professional and timely manner
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers
- Offer solutions and recommendations to customers based on their needs and requirements
- Document customer interactions and keep accurate records of customer inquiries, complaints, and resolutions
- Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure customer needs are met
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers
- Meet or exceed established performance metrics for customer satisfaction, productivity, and quality
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience required, experience in live chat support preferred
- Technical knowledge of engineering products and software preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work during non-business hours as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
