National Bank Trust is looking for a dynamic self-starter for the position of Manager - Institutional Markets on its pension plan and custody services team.

For more than 90 years, National Bank Trust has been offering a wide variety of high-quality services to the institutional market that includes government agencies, foundations, investment companies, funeral homes and religious communities, as well as to National Bank’s individual clients.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

- Fully understand clients’ needs to help them achieve their business goals
- Manage two Institutional Markets Associates
- Identify and develop market opportunities to increase business volume
- Ensure your visibility and the Bank’s visibility through social involvement in your community and with various organizations and professional associations
- Ensure that portfolio quality is maintained while maximizing growth and profitability
- Meet clients’ changing needs by maintaining regular contact with them
- Ensure the rigorous follow-up of accounts under administration
- Keep clients informed of market trends by adopting an advisory approach and offering proactive customer service
- Represent our clients’ needs to our internal partners
- Oversee the administrative management of files
- Advise our clients and their specialists to help them achieve their business plans
- Collaborate with various internal Bank partners to ensure that service delivery and the client experience are top rate, particularly portfolio management services in collaboration with NBI
- Help develop and deploy various initiatives affecting pension plan and custody service clients

- Depending on your academic background, at least 5 to 9 years of experience in business development and customer service in the institutional market
- A bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience or a master's degree and 5 years of experience
- Demonstrate an understanding of the issues of this market segment (stakeholders, competitors, clients)
- Expert in the delivery of financial services for institutions, from custody services to asset management
- Knowledge of institutional asset management, an asset
- Excellent knowledge of the reference market (stakeholders, competitors, trends)
- Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French)
