**Martin's Processing Ltd. operates a State-of-the-Art facility in Elmira, Ontario. Here we produce our famous Crispy Apple Chips, Apple Cider, fresh sliced apples for commercial bakeries and our newest production line, apple puree.**
- Nights - Sunday to Thursday 11pm to 7am, shift premium $1.50/hour_

**Position Description**:
Forklift Operators feed bins of apples to production lines many times an hour using forklifts. They are a support person for all aspects of the processing plant operation. Requires someone with attention to detail and is able to perform tasks efficiently. This person will be heavily leaned upon within the processing plant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set-up and load apple bins on line using forklift safely
- Perform regular circle checks and minor maintenance on forklifts and equipment
- Unloading and loading of trucks as needed
- Able to stack apple bins in narrow and high positions
- Weighing of bins and paperwork
- Other tasks as needed including occasional light sanitation

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Previous experience working in a plant environment
- Ability to work independently to organize and prioritize workload
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Excellent team player
