An independently owned pharmacy looking for a part-time Pharmacy Assistant. We are looking for a positive and friendly individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a good work ethic. You must be proactive, hard-working, punctual, and compassionate with the patients.

The pharmacy provides OAT services to downtown east side residents.

**Hours**:9.30 am to 3.30 pm, three to four days per week.

**Salary**: $17 to $20 per hour depending on the experience.

**Duties**:
1. To assist pharmacists in day-to-day Pharmacy operations.

2. To make blister packs for the daily dispensing of medications.

3. To assist pharmacists in counting and maintaining the Narcotic inventory.

4. Answer phone calls, do prescription filling, and record-keeping for all documents.

5. Assist pharmacists in making deliveries ready for the next day.

6. Maintain a clean and clutter-free workspace.

7. Faxing refill authorization requests and missed dose reports to the doctor’s office.

8. Ordering and receiving pharmacy inventory and checking for medication expiries from time to time.

9. And other duties necessary for the day-to-day operation of the Pharmacy.

**Skills**:
1. Strong communication skills.

2. Customer service experience.

3. Knowledge of Win Rx software is an asset.

4. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and the Computer.

5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

6. Previous pharmacy experience is preferrable.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
