We are a community-based pharmacy focused on patient centered wellness through innovative pharmacy services.

We are looking for a self motivated/proactive, dependable and detail oriented Pharmacy Assistant on a part time basis that is committed to providing excellent customer service, and is enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of others. Ability to speak Mandarin is an asset.

**About you**:

- Ability to work proactively as a member of a dynamic team
- Available for a variety of shifts, including weekends
- Adaptable and fast learner with the ability to take constructive criticism and implement changes
- Able to prioritize and organize workload and meet deadlines
- Exhibits a professional image, mature communication style and proper phone etiquette

Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant program and or 1 year of experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant.

**Some key responsibilities include**:

- Assisting our Pharmacists with the preparation, packaging and distribution of medications
- Greeting patients and confirming accuracy of prescription and patient information
- Data entry of patient and prescription information
- Providing exceptional service in a timely manner and referring questions to our Pharmacists
- Handling customer prescription pick up and sales/cashier responsibilities
- Maintaining patient and drug information files
- Maintaining inventory of pharmacy stock, ordering and receiving
- Performing other duties as necessary to support all members of our team

**Qualifications and abilities**:

- Fluent in English with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills and adept in using a variety of office equipment and computer software programs

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
