**Audio Visual Service Technician**

**About Proshow**

This full-time job will primarily be performed at the Proshow branch office in Burnaby, BC, supporting Proshow’s engineering team. Diagnosing, repairing and managing the workflow of incoming and outgoing equipment for repair are all key aspects of this position.

Will have a strong knowledge of audiovisual organizations and technical experience with servicing and repairing audio visual equipment. The ability to multitask and assist in many ongoing projects as well as order parts and schedule service timelines would be excellent. This role will need someone with a keen eye for detail and organizational skills and who can excel in a role that is self managed.

**Primary Job Responsibilities**:

- Process show reports and enter into task list
- Repair diagnosis
- IntelliEvent maintenance ticket creation and tracking
- Electronic equipment repairs
- Physical equipment repairs
- Parts ordering (with equipment coordinator)
- Cable and wiring harness construction
- Cable maintenance (annual inspections)
- Projector preventative maintenance
- Equipment testing, maintenance and cleaning
- Outside service coordination and tracking
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace in the service and engineering area

**Secondary Job Responsibilities**:

- Circuit board assembly
- Equipment prep and check
- Setup, Operation and Removal of Audio, Video, Lighting, Staging and other related equipment for events

**Essential Skills Required**:

- Electronic testing and diagnosis
- Hand soldering, both through hole PCB and wire
- Technical troubleshooting
- Cable connector termination; solder, crimp and screw terminal, audio/video/data/power

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
