Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Uncle Sam's. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. If you have a passion for cooking and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and ingredients
- Adhere to portion control guidelines for cost management
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
- Collaborate with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
