Working as a member of the Building Services Team the Working Foreman will be responsible to manage the daily requirements of the job and complete various construction tasks to maintain and renovate a successful portfolio of commercial real estate properties to suit tenants requirements including:
**carpentry (doors, windows, framing)**

**basic plumbing**

**basic electrical**

**drywall work, taping, mudding, sanding**

**painting**

**flooring**
- Certification or training in construction trades is a plus
- This position is responsible for fulfilling the owner's goals and our tenant's requirements through efficient, timely and cost effective construction techniques.
- Complete all construction maintenance /renovation requests in a professional manner
- Work within the budget limits as directed for repairs and maintenance or new construction opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Keeping track of inventory used or needed for efficient and cost effective implementation while managing the job.
- Monitor and maintain construction systems in the buildings as required
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning
- Ensure that safety standards are used and practiced to comply with all company, local city, provincial or federal guidelines at all times
- Physically identify and correct unsafe or untidy conditions in or around the buildings or grounds
- Maintain positive and proactive client relations to provide excellent service to fulfill requests effectively and quickly

**Perform in the winter months to salt entryways, shovel ramps; must be able to lift 50lbs. Snow maintenance experience required (Snowplowing with machinery, Salting etc)

Proficient knowledge of the use and operation of hand tools, power tools, can operate machinery and loading equipment ie. dump trailers, flat deck trailers etc.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
