**Maintenance Administrator**:
Full-Time
**Location**:
Building in Sarnia Ontario
**Purpose of this Position**:
Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Administrator position maintains the day-to-day operations and assumes responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property by doing work orders, keeping the lobby and floors cleaned and cutting the grass.
**Major Responsibilities**:
This position is responsible for fulfilling our client’s goals and objectives through efficient and effective maintenance under the direction of the Property Administrator.
The main responsibilities for the Maintenance Administrator include, but are not limited to:
Ø Complete all maintenance requests issued in a timely manner
Ø Maintains accurate and complete maintenance service and repair orders
Ø Ensure vacant units are prepared for rent in a timely manner
Ø Maintains grounds in a neat and orderly manner (landscaping, laundry rooms, refuse areas, etc )
Ø Troubleshoots and performs routine maintenance and/or repair on the following items: Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Flooring, Roofing, Lighting, Smoke Alarms, Appliances, Water Systems, Interior and Exterior Structures (stairs, gates, fences, railings, walls, doors, windows, cabinets, etc )
Ø Maintains positive resident, customer relations/service attitude
Ø Performs additional duties as assigned.
**Desired Skills and Experience**
Ø Maintenance of two (2) years or more
Ø Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ø Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ø Knowledge of the use and operation of hand tools, power tools, and equipment
Ø A reliable vehicle is required
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
