Transportation Coordinator

Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

**SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the management of all commercial and non-commercial compliance across the Company.

**JOB DUTIES**

**Intelex**
- Review driver abstracts, input information into online database (Intelex), approve/disapprove drivers.
- Weekly review and monitor approved drivers across Company.
- Weekly communication of approved driver status across Company.

**Non-Commercial Vehicle Duties**:

- Manage Primoris Canada Transportation Safety Manual (conduct training, revisions/updates, communicate changes, etc.).
- Create and Maintain Transportation electronic files on all Commercial and non-Commercial employees.
- Create and Maintain All Light/Medium duty Vehicle/ Trailer Files/ Commercial.
- Annual Abstract pull on all Approved Driver’s.
- Communicate results to HR/Hiring Managers/HSE
- Responsible to create Commercial vehicle binders and binders for all F-350’s and above.
- Coordinate Compliance training for office employees.
- Ordering of all documents related to transportation dept. (log books, inspection books, accident report booklets, etc.)

**DOT Compliance Duties**:

- Ensure Commercial drivers adhere to the Department of Transportation regulations at the Provincial and federal level.
- Update and maintain Commercial driver’s files.
- Perform audits on driver daily logs.
- Coordinate Transportation Compliance training for commercial employees on sites.

**Insurance/Registration.**
- Update & Maintain Insurance Log and forward to BFL Canada monthly.
- Maintain and submit documentation to verify compliance with BFL Canada requirements:

- _ Copy of valid Driver’s License applicable class for vehicle to be operated (No GDL Licensee permitted to drive)_
- _ Drivers Abstract and Subsequent Abstract reviews annually_
- _ Signed Abstract Authorization Form (TSM-001), all Provincial specific Authorization forms_
- _ Defensive Driving Certificate for all drivers_
- _ Approved Vehicle Assignment Authorization Form (TSM-003), if applicable_
- _ Signed Employee Responsibility Acknowledgement Form (TSM-002)_
- _ Vehicle Assignment Inspection Form (TSM-004) _
- _Commercial Driver Application Forms (TSM-007) for Commercial Vehicle Operators_
- _ Commercial Driver Road Test (TSM-008) and annual re-evaluation_
- _ Commercial Drivers Log Sheets (TSM-006)_
- _ Training Certificates of Commercial Drivers _
- Manage/coordinate Insurance audits.
- Update Insurance documents and registration in all vehicles on an ongoing basis. (Monthly, Yearly)
- Year-end registration renewal of all vehicles and ensure that updated copies are placed in all units over multiple sites.
- Responsible to cancel registration on all rental/sold vehicles monthly.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A minimum of 5 years of related transportation experience
- Knowledgeable in Provincial & Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
