Parkland County has a _casual _Bus Driver position from approximately December 2024 to December 2025 with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the FCSS Coordinator, this position is responsible for the safe operation of Parkland County’s Seniors’ bus in the delivery of transportation services. The role provides public transportation primarily for passengers who are sixty-five plus (65+) years of age with exceptions made to accommodate other demographics as needed (including passengers with physical and/or cognitive disabilities). This position must adjust to variable working conditions, including adverse weather, traffic & construction, passenger problems, accidents, and route changes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid Class 4 Drivers License with the ability to provide a Commercial Drivers Abstract. A Class 1 or 2 Drivers License in addition is preferred.
- Previous experience in bus transportation would be considered an asset.
- Must possess previous experience working with, providing regular care, or assisting seniors.

An hourly rate of pay of $30.82 with hours of work as required.
