**Description**

Our Client is seeking a Senior Management Consultant with leadership experience managing a portfolio of concurrent projects in a complex business and technical environment.

Proposed resource must work from within Canada, due to network and data security issues.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Senior leadership experience managing a portfolio of concurrent projects or initiatives staffed with a team of at least 10 people. (8+ years)
- Senior leadership experience managing program(s) in a complex business and technical environment. (8+ years)
- Senior leadership experience defining program goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (5+ years)
- Experience developing and implementing communication strategies. (5+ years)
- Experience writing program/project related documents such as proposals, business plans, statements of work, RFPs, and strategy documents. (3+ years)
- Experience managing multiple resources and/or delivery teams (including change management, hiring and removing resources as required). (3+ years)
- Proposed resource must have own computer equipment and be comfortable using it for completion of work required by this contract.
- Proposed resource must work from within Canada, due to network and data security issues, during regular business hours.

**Nice To Have Skills**
- Active PMP Certification
- Senior leadership experience leading a portfolio of concurrent projects or initiatives. (7+ years)
- Experience in project coordination of information management / information technology initiatives. (7+ years)
- Experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels. (7+ years)
- Experience developing and maintaining positive relationships across the organization, including executive level. (7+ years)
- Experience working with staff, contractors and vendor teams. (4+ years)
- Experience negotiating with vendors and other external stakeholders from the client side. (4+ years)

**Location**
- Edmonton/Remote

**Work Environment**
- 5 months with 2 possible 6-month extensions

**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
