**_Front Counter Clerk_**:
**_Regular Full-Time_**

The District of Squamish is seeking a Regular Full-Time Front Counter Clerk to join our growing Police Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative and clerical services to the general public and RCMP members at the Sea to Sky detachment.

In this role you will bring your natural customer services skills and eagle eye for detail to support a variety of activities including:

- Responds to internal and external inquiries over the phone, at the front counter, and in the office.
- Processes complaints from general public, determines the urgency and nature of the complaint; creates RCMP file if required; routes information to appropriate emergency department or individual for action.
- Provides administrative support to the employee transfer process
- Transcribes statements for police files
- Checks and processes requests for motor vehicle accident reports for ICBC.

**_ What we’re looking for:_** You are highly organized and enjoy multi-tasking. You thrive in a team environment and are passionate about the work you do and supporting the RCMP members. You will be required to obtain and maintain an RCMP RRS Security Clearance and ideally you have 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

On top of our hourly rate - $31.41, this position also offers a comprehensive benefits package and municipal pension plan after 455 hours worked.
- This is a Union position within the Collective Agreement of CUPE Local 2269 and the District of Squamish._
