We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced Technical Lead with a strong background in service-oriented architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud native platform development. This role requires a strong understanding of the technical and operational challenges in deploying and managing live video production environments, both on-premises and in the cloud.
As the Technical Lead, you’ll guide our team in designing and building a scalable, service-based platform for provisioning, deploying, and configuring complex production environments. Your expertise will be critical in creating a high-performance, adaptable, and resilient tool that meets the dynamic needs of live production customers.

**What the job is all about**:

- Lead the design, architecture, and development of a cloud-based deployment platform for live video production environments, with a strong emphasis on scalability, modularity, and service-oriented architecture.
- Develop and implement solutions for provisioning, configuring, and deploying hybrid and cloud production environments that meet the demands of real-time, high-performance media workflows.
- Collaborate with product management to translate customer needs and pain points into technical requirements and actionable designs.
- Define technical roadmaps and best practices to ensure platform security, reliability, maintainability, and scalability in on premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native approaches, incorporating microservices, containerization, and orchestration as appropriate to optimize performance and scalability.
- Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring engineers and fostering an environment of collaboration, technical excellence, continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Software Manager and Product Operations Manager to ensure releases meet corporate security, legal, and technical standards while safeguarding Ross Intellectual Property.

**Who you are**:

- Proven Experience: 8+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role building production grade cloud-based platforms.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in cloud-native architecture and best practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, microservices, security, identity management, and deployment tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, including building scalable solutions using platform SDKs and APIs.
- Service-based Architecture: Experience in building platforms that leverage service-based architectures to achieve modularity and scalability.
- Deployment Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices to support deployment automation and scalability.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a technical team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to communicate and explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders (technical and non-technical).
- Proactive self-starter: Passionate about technology, quick learner, and can work with minimum supervision in meeting schedules and project dea
