**Responsibilities**:
- Assists with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Maintains and updates confidential employee records and information.
- Assists with accurate and timely preparation of payroll data and administration of employee benefits.
- Assists with posting to recruitment websites and social media platforms as required.
- Assists with Job Descriptions and initial phone or Zoom screens.
- Acts as the primary contact for day-to-day HR employee issues, including advising management on employee and labor relations issues, conducting investigations, interpreting policies, and counseling employees.
- Aids in the administration of Performance Reviews.
- Performs other administrative and HR duties as required.
**Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Certification(s) in Human Resources management is preferred.
- Understanding of Provincial Employment Standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational abilities and careful attention to detail.
- Experience in job boards, such as Indeed, is an asset.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material in a professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
