Inventory Control Coordinator

Position Overview

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy when receiving and recording all movements of inventory and materials to and from Fresh Start Foods facilities. In addition, this role will work with different departments including the purchasing, production and shipping team. This role will report directly to the Shipping Supervisor.

Shifts

Hours: 4:00AM - 12:30PM

Days: Monday to Friday and Holidays are required.

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full-time

**Responsibilities**:
Conduct daily count of raw/dry material inventory across Conduct daily count of raw/dry material inventory across Organize the warehouse/cooler area using the FIFO method

Perform weekly inventory reports and share with various departments Ensure that a quality check inspection is completed on raw material items received
- Investigating variant reports and discrepancies and identify gaps/issues in the process
- Receive load/unload trucks occasionally
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack, handjack and other equipment to load, unload transport and store goods
- Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience driving a forklift.
- Forklift Certification is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Strong Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Accountable and Dependable.
- Self Motivated and have the desire to continuously improve.
- Frequent lifting, pushing & pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending/stooping. Occasionally required to squat/kneel/rotate/twist/balance.
