Located on the brink of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, the Marriott on the Falls is a 404-guestroom full-service hotel, minutes away from area attractions, world-class wineries, golf and casinos. The Marriott on the Falls also offers sumptuous dining options at its on-site Milestones Fallsview Restaurant along with 23 private function rooms and boardrooms totaling over 40,000 square feet of meeting space including our 8400 sq. ft. Oakes Grand Ballroom with an additional 2700 sq. ft. foyer. **Job Summary**

At Marriott on the Falls, our operations thrive with the commitment of Associates who support and demonstrate the Marriott core values and culture of _putting people first, acting with integrity, serving our world, embracing change, and pursuing excellence._ The Restaurant Server will be responsible for providing each guest with a dining experience that will be remembered long after their stay.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Warmly welcoming guests and promptly attending to their tables.
- Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations when needed.
- Share your food and beverage menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests.
- Post transactions in the Micros system correctly and in a timely manner.
- Follow up with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage served.
- Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies.
- Attend daily stand-up meetings at start of shift.
- Work safely and in compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Perform any and all other tasks, which are assigned by management.

**What we’re looking for**:

- 1 year of food and beverage serving experience in dining environment.
- Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented individual.
- Positive and outgoing personality.
- A professional that maintains composure at all times, regardless of issue, while performing multiple tasks with multiple guests/ items/products.
- Outstanding attention to detail - both personal grooming/appearance and in properly identifying guest’s needs, demeanor, and level of required service attention.
- Ability to quickly respond to changing work volume; high-energy level/speed.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Smart Serve Certification is required.
