Groundskeeper/exterior Cleaning

We operate two (2) adjoining hotel properties - Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel and Best Western Parkway Hotel, conveniently located at Highway 7 and Leslie Street in Richmond Hill. Accessible via YRT /VIVA transit, and Highways 7, 404 and 407. We offer complimentary staff parking, discounted health club membership, and discounted food & beverage outlets.

We are currently seeking a part time Groundskeeper to join our team. The duties of Groundskeeper include, but are not limited to the following;
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Pick up litter/debris in front of hotel, conference centre, 9005 Leslie Street, Parkway Health & Racquet Club, and parking areas.

3. Empty trash containers at entrance doors

4. Replace garbage bags and dispose to on site compactors or bins as appropriate

5. Perform additional duties as assigned from time to time by the CRI Project Manager

Physical demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, Bending, Walking & Squatting, pushing/pulling cart

(Work gloves and raingear provided)

QUALIFICATIONS

*Must provide own CSA approved safety boots

*Must have a neat and tidy appearance at all times

*Must have excellent communication skills

*Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially

*Must have the ability to work with mínimal supervision

*Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday, 4 - 6 hours per shift/day.

*Previous experience an asset, but will train right person with right attitude

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
