**Job Summary**:
Under the direction of the Manager, the Events Coordinator is responsible for delivery of products and services for conferences, announcements, and events associated with science promotion and outreach with key stakeholders.

**Statement of Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Secondary school diploma and relevant work experience;
Project or event management certificate is considered an asset.

Foreign Credential Validation against Canadian Standards

**Experience**:
Experience in all aspects of event delivery;
Experience collaborating with key stakeholders in the research community, academia and other environments.

**Knowledge**:
Knowledge of NSERC’s policies, programs and communications services;
Knowledge of communications and promotion techniques;
Knowledge of key requirements for public events;
Knowledge of project management principles;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

**Condition(s) of Employment**:
