- Job Requirements
- Responsibilities: Will include but are not limited to:

- Clarifies all principles, guidelines and standards of the UTR program
- Develops policies and operating procedures based on this document
- Manages the UTR budget and provides recommendations to the sponsor agency
- Develops systems and procedures for program coordination
- Develops and maintains clear lines of authority and channels of communications
- Serves as liaison between sponsor agency, policy groups, other community councils and outside agencies
- Assigns, develops, trains, supervises and evaluates program staff and their work. Reviews and makes recommendations on personnel actions such as employment, retention, promotion, and termination
- Other related job duties as may be assigned
- Understand and follows all regulation set out in the Child Care and Early Years Act

Qualifications:

- Clear understanding of Under the Rainbow Childcare Centre
- Must have 5yrs experience as a Registered Early Childhood Educator
- Must be in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Must have experience and knowledge in program development, setup and implementation
- Must be sensitive to the needs and safety of the children and their families
- Must include parental involvement in all aspects of UTR
- Must understand Child Care and Early Years Act
- Must have exceptional leadership and supervisory skills
- Muat have Microsoft
- excel experience
- Must have budget experience
- Must have a clean vulnerable sector CPIC
- Must have CPR and First Aid, Level C
- Must have Food Handlers
- Must have a letter from physician - free of communicable diseases
- Must have record of updated immunizations
- Must have current TB clearance
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driver’s abstract
- Preference will be given to Aboriginal applicants

- Position: Under the Rainbow Childcare Centre Administrator

Start Date: Immediately

Wage: TBD

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week including occasional evenings and weekends and Special Events. Must be available to work between the hours of 6:30am -6:00pm

Supervision: Employed by the Fort Erie Native Cultural Centre Inc. The Under the Rainbow Administrator will be responsible to the policies and directions as determined by the Board of Directors and under the direct daily supervision of the Executive Director or designate.

Area of Responsibility: The Administrator will provide direction and leadership for all programs by providing environments which include Belonging, Engagement, Expression, Well-being for all families and children. Provide the direction and leadership for all program administration, reporting, program plan and objectives, evaluation, etc., within established guidelines.
