Manager of Accounting

**Overview of Role**:
You will work directly with accounting, tax, and legal team members to:

- Provide controller and financial advisory services to the Westbridge portfolio of companies.
- In conjunction with the portfolio management teams, provide assistance to a broad spectrum of financial, accounting, and tax matters affecting our group of portfolio companies including:

- Financial and tax assistance as required in support of monthly and annual reporting to both internal and external business partners.
- Development of cash flow forecasts and annual budgets.
- Evaluation of financial reporting systems, accounting procedures, or investment activities and recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, or other financial control functions to optimize efficiencies.
- Evaluation of the impact of possible internal control weaknesses and development of contingency and remediation plans.
- Development and monitoring of business performance metrics (KPI’s).
- Participate in the acquisition due diligence process as required including the post-close transition and integration of financial processes, ERP and accounting systems and treasury procedures of recently acquired portfolio companies.
- Coordinate financial due diligence and M&A transaction support in an efficient manner.
- Review historical financial statements, working capital, forecasts, and underlying assumptions to validate earnings.
- Internal reporting and other finance tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting and finance environment.
- You have been a Controller for an operating company or Manager responsible for leading private client engagements in a professional services firm for at least 2 years.
- Multi-industry discipline as well as previous public accounting is a plus.
