This position is an ideal opportunity for you to further develop your career within the retail sector. You will work closely with the Hardgoods Buying team to provide support to the department. You will be involved in product ordering, inventory management, advertising, communication and other general administrative tasks. Interacting with all levels of the organization will come with ease to you as you have strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as well as
independently. You will be working in an engaging hybrid environment where you will be in office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

**Category Coordinator, Hardgoods, Job Highlights**:

- Assist the Category Manager in meetings;
- Set up and maintain SKU files, set up warehouse SKUs;
- Enter data and monitor stock levels of advertised items;
- Source and supply product samples for flyers;
- Coordinate ad plan with marketing and supply chain;
- Review and proof flyer pages;
- Process claims;
- Assist in organizing the buying show;
- Prepare daily/weekly reports as required

**Category Coordinator, Hardgoods, Job Key Qualifications**:

- Postsecondary education in business administration (or related program);
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail;
- Strong computer skills: Intermediate Excel (pivot tables an asset) and working knowledge of AS/400 system an asset;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and able to prioritize and multi-task;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong communication skills to be able to interact with all levels of the organization;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
