With a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a talented **Digital Marketing Specialist** to join a newly established department within the team in Calgary.
Reporting to the Global Business Development Director, this role is ideal for a results-driven, initiative-taking professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Manage and analyze website traffic, lead generation, and digital performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and SEO software.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.) to drive audience growth and engagement.
- Develop and oversee paid advertising campaigns, including PPC, display ads, and social media/influencer ads, ensuring cost-effective results.
- Work with the team to develop and oversee an affiliate/ambassador marketing program.
- Optimize website content, structure, and technical SEO to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and trends in the digital landscape.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including graphic designers and content creators, to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Monitor, report, and present campaign performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Support the rest of the team with other business needs in order to help it achieve its goals.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing strategies and paid advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluent).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design tools (strongly preferred).
- Fluency in another language in addition to English (strongly preferred).
