**Dispatch Lead - Propane Operations**

We’re looking for a **Dispatch Lead** to oversee our propane delivery scheduling, driver coordination, and route optimization efforts. This role is a critical part of our logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive timely, efficient, and responsive service. Based in Red Deer, you’ll work closely with drivers, admin staff, shop teams, and customers to keep operations smooth, safe, and cost-effective.

**What You’ll Do**:
**✔ Coordinate Daily Delivery Logistics**
- Schedule and adjust driver routes to meet customer needs
- Manage mid-day changes, equipment availability, and urgent requests
- Use dispatch/scheduling software to streamline routes and maximize efficiency

**✔ Lead & Support the Driver Team**
- Act as the lead contact for propane delivery drivers
- Provide on-site support, tank swaps, and assist with end-of-day loading
- Direct daily workflow and ensure safety and compliance

**✔ Build Customer Relationships**
- Maintain strong client communication and service coordination
- Support onsite collections and follow-ups when needed
- Document key service details to ensure continuity of care

**✔ Provide Administrative and System Support**
- Maintain data accuracy in scheduling systems
- Monitor tank levels and plan refills proactively
- Collaborate with admin staff on AR issues, service updates, and delivery changes

- Ensure compliance with Alberta OHS standards and internal safety policiesCreate a respectful, inclusive, and hazard-free work environment

**What You Bring**:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience managing scheduling software, and tech-savvy skills is an asset.
- A minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Clean driving record preferred; experience in propane delivery is an asset.
- Certifications in H2S, TDG, WHMIS, and First Aid are considered assets.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and responsive approach.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Office and yard-based, with occasional site support or delivery assistance.
- Regular use of computers, scheduling systems, and communication tools.
- May require light lifting (up to 25 lbs.) or physical support of delivery operations.
- Participation in after-hours or weekend on-call support is required
