McMillan is looking for their next Conflict and Risk Management Assistant in our Toronto office. As a member of the Risk Management department working 10am-6pm, you will play a key role conducting conflict searches, monitoring and building ethical walls and supporting administrative activities, including supporting General Counsel, Chief Risk Officer.

**Please note that this role offers a hybrid workweek. Each week will combine both working at home for a few days and working in the office for the balance. Your hybrid schedule will start once you join McMillan**

**What You’ll Do**

This role is responsible for setting up, managing, and monitoring ethical walls, responding to inquiries and resolving issues. This position also will be identifying and elevating conflicts issues and liaising with Information Technology (IT) on software updates and, process improvements. Providing five-star service, you will assist the team with conflict searches through multiple request forms ensuring completeness and accuracy. This role also will conduct conflict surveys for lateral hires, generating reports, updating public company lists, opening and maintaining list of directorships, participating in ethical wall and conflict projects, which includes testing related systems. This position will also be responsible for drafting and revising correspondence, processing invoices and other related tasks.
