**The Role**:
Responsibilities include:

- Checking shipments received against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders and/or any other related documents to ensure discrepancies or damages are identified, recorded, and brought to the appropriate department / vendors attention
- Staging & releasing inventory against Work Orders.
- Sorting incoming parts, supplies and materials, placing them in designated locations / bins.
- Staging, releasing & checking items to be shipped against pick list / customer orders.
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of shipment
- Pack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shipping
- Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures
- Maintain shipping and receiving area by ensuring a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Some knowledge of inventory management - Maintaining accuracy of inventory through receiving & adding SKUs to inventory, issuing & depleting SKUs from inventory.
- Setting Up Delivery Appointments
- Receiving against Issued Purchase Orders
- Monitor & Set Up KPIs for Carriers, Vendors
- Shipping Product Against Return Authorization
- Scheduling & communicating with supply chain partners for delivery & pick up appointments
- Preparing Material Dispatch Notes, Bills of Lading, Shipping Documents, Tracking Shipments to End Users, Customers.
- Maintaining internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems.
- Ensuring all shipments are correctly labelled, and contents are verified against shipping documentations
- Tracking shipments in transit
- Troubleshooting with couriers & brokers

PREPARATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1- 3 year(s) experience in shipping and receiving.
- Knowledge of logistics, warehousing operations, shipping procedures and documentation.
- Possess multi-tasking abilities and teamwork skills
- Highly organized and able to follow directions, work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Some experience in inventory management, budgeting, and reporting
- Experience in inbound, outbound shipments and paperwork processing
- Experience in communicating with service providers, brokers, for releases, deliveries, & tracking shipments.

- Organized with good time management, interpersonal, verbal, written, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and processes.
- Works effectively to meet deadlines

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
