**Job Summary**

Viacore in Sudbury, Ontario, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Mechanical Services Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who possesses strong leadership abilities and a solid background in mechanical services.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage a team of millwrights, technicians, and welder/fabricators.
- Provide guidance, support, and leadership to the team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project deadlines, and quality standards.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate mechanical services projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient utilization of manpower.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure work is performed according to specifications and meets industry standards.
- Collaborate with other supervisors, managers, and clients to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, project progress, and employee performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

**Education & Certification Required**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and material handling systems.
- 433A Industrial Millwright Certificate of Qualification

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role overseeing mechanical services, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Minimum 5 years of trade experience as an Industrial Millwright
- Proven experience leading and managing teams of millwrights, technicians, and welder/fabricators.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and knowledge of applicable safety regulations.
