The company has been based in Laval (Canada) since 2002 and has offices in the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and in South America.Progesys is looking for a Maintenance Planner - Mechanical to join our team. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking all mechanical work—including capital projects, maintenance, and support activities. This role ensures accurate work order management in Oracle CMMS, supports materials procurement, and facilitates communication across technical and operational teams.ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed planning and scheduling for multidisciplinary tasks.Review maintenance work requests and create comprehensive plans with required resources.Coordinate with area supervisors to prepare the weekly maintenance schedule.Organize and lead weekly coordination meetings to finalize the maintenance schedule.Review preventive maintenance requests and create bills of materials for assets.Follow up with vendors throughout the supply chain and create purchase requests/purchase orders where necessary.Ensure Management of Change (MOC) project scopes of work are created, scheduled, and executed.Assist with planning various plant shutdowns and outages, including manpower allocation, resource loading, material procurement, and scheduling.Required SkillsMechanical or industrial engineering / technician degree, or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in mechanical planning and maintenance.In-depth knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance processes.Project management skills and proficiency with planning software (e.g., Oracle CMMS, SAP PM, Microsoft Project).Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal relationship management skills.Ability to work in rotation schedules and remote (camp) environments.Our BenefitsIn addition to offering a stimulating and dynamic work environment, we provide:🤝 An open and inclusive culture and work environment💰 Competitive salary🦷 Health and dental benefits from day one💰 Referral bonus👩🏫 A company that encourages professional development🌍 International mobility🚧 Large-scale projects🧑💻 The opportunity to work closely with a team of curious and open-minded individuals🏋️ On-site gym (Laval office)Progesys is an equal opportunity employer and has an equal employment opportunity program for women, Indigenous peoples, visible minorities, ethnic minorities, and persons with disabilities.Thank you for your interest.
