**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee editorial content direction and overall publishing schedules
- Interview and write content where required
- Liaise with existing freelance writers and contributors and source new options and circulate schedule requirements
- Help assemble editorial committees and communicate with individual committee members
- Help select photography and provide art direction
- Comply with media law and industry regulations
- Proofread, edit and rewrite articles to meet publication standards
- Work with the internal design department on layout, proofing and final approvals for print products
- Utilizing the existing digital frameworks, source, write and regularly place content inside the applicable website, e-newsletter and social media products
- Attend bi-annual industry events and trade shows to gather content and editorial contributors

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant post-secondary education (preferably a Communications/Journalism or related degree)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Excellent bilingual communication skills, including writing, proof-reading and speaking in both French and English.
- Experience in writing event marketing material, identifying effective ways to reach audience using traditional media, digital media and social media an asset
- Proficient use of the latest versions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other programs required to deliver successful editorial content

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
