Scheduling Coordinator

Scheduling Supervisor - Position Summary: Helps maintain scheduling system so records are accurate and complete and can be used to schedule caregivers and clients accordingly. Work closely with our office staff to schedule caregivers for home care clients, problem solving, staffing, scheduling issues and deals with needs that might arise. Provide administrative support to a home health company.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer to all phone calls and respond to enquiries
- Performs annual performance reviews for caregivers and office staff as needed.
- Match caregivers to clients based on personality, skill, client's scheduling needs and caregivers' availability.
- Accurately schedule clients with caregivers based on location, time, skills/needs, requests, etc...
- Consistently organize caregiver and clients issues. i.e. time off requests, questions, changes in schedule and/or availability, concerns.
- Utilize our web-based care management system to monitor caregivers for on-time arrival, manage login/logout system, monitor care logs, and update client and caregiver record.
- Effectively and accurately communicate with caregivers, clients, case managers, other coordinators and office staff.
- On-call responsibilities as needed.
- Work in the evening and some weekends if needed
- Provide HR/office assistance.
- Other projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with scheduling in a home-health care environment.
- Proactive and adaptable.
- Excellent problem-solver with a positive attitude and collaborative approach.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, professional and friendly demeanor.
- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling programming.
- Must be willing to be on-call and carry a phone.
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
Required experience:
- Excellent Verbal Communication skills
- Scheduling & Staffing/ Data Entry/ Telephone handling: 2 years
- Must drive and have a car
- Goldcare software experience is preferred
**Salary**: $16.00-$21.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
