Dispatcher

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dispatcher to join our team.

**Duties**:

- Inbound dispatch from USA to Canada, crossborder experience
- Monitor workloads and location, timing and ETAs
- Perform general office duties, order entry and booking/rate negotiating both customer and broker freight
- Dispatch personnel according to schedules and orders
- Keep track of shipments
- Knowledge of cross border dispatching, regulations and practices including ACI and ACE paperwork submissions
- Knowledge of highway truckng and associated rules and regulations
- Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
- Good computer skills and software experience, Fleet Manager an aset
- Communicate (delays/issues) Proactively provides updates to customers regarding any shipment issues or delays.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of shipments

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in Fleet Manager software is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in data entry and using phone systems
