**Mortgage Lender Underwriter - Full Time Guaranteed Hourly Wage**

Armada Mortgage is an Independent Mortgage Lender (MIC), Investment Firm, and Mortgage Brokerage. We underwrite, arrange, and lend on mortgages, as well as distribute & manage the sales of securities and other investment products to our shareholders through our investment company Armada Wealth Management.

We are in Langley near the Golden Ears Bridge on 96th and 201, near the freeway. Our office is in a new building with easy and free parking, relaxing greenspace, and a sunny interior with a view. This is a **work from Main Office position 9-5 Mon-Fri.**

Duties would include reviewing incoming files using our clear underwriting guidelines, preparing commitments, and mortgage instructions. You will also be cross training on Mortgage Renewals, speaking with borrowers, and collecting renewal documents. Other duties will involve managing client relationship software, working with sub-brokers, and making sales calls as needed.

**Requirements**:

- **Sub-Mortgage broker license, or the ability to reinstate - Sorry this is a deal killer if you don’t have these credentials**:

- Min.5 years mortgage underwriting/ mortgage brokering experience
- Office experience and must be able to operate a computer proficiently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Multi-tasker
- 35- 40 hrs a week.
- Proficiency in Excel and report creation skills are necessary
- Wage is based on experience and number of years in the industry
- Health Care Package
