As Claims Advocate you will represent Westland Insurance Group Ltd. and be responsible for providing technical claims support to client service teams and clients. This includes collaborating with client service teams to provide value added services, with a focus on client retention. You will support Westland’s key initiatives and goals by acting as a client advocate while upholding our reputation for client satisfaction.

**Why we’ll love You**:
- 5-7+ years' multi-line adjusting / examining experience on property and casualty claims
- 5+ years' Claims Advocacy work
- Licensed Insurance Broker with RIBO
- CIP / FCIP designation
- Customer Service Champion
- Experience working with a dynamic management team, supporting goals of the Claims Team and organization
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines policies
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment, and a strong team contributor
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills including the ability to provide clear and concise direction
- Ability to work independently
**Once here, you'll**:
- Provides technical advocacy and assistance to Westland Clients and Westland Brokers
- Maintains positive relationships and communication with Clients and Account Managers
- Provides initial and on-going advocacy on claims, including detail analysis of coverage under the policy of insurance
- Undertakes policy wording analysis, liaises with Insurers to ensure the broadest interpretation of coverage is being provided
- Carries out regular diary follow-ups with clients and Insurers during life-cycle of a claim
- Assists on managing clients’ expectations on ‘off coverage’ positions being taken by Insurers
- Establishes and develops relationships with Insurers, legal counsel and third party adjusters
- Organizes, assists with, and conducts client presentations as requiredwith Account Managers
