Welcome to the 43 North restaurant group. We are proud to be one the largest hospitality employers in the Niagara region. We manage a variety of culinary experiences from full-service dining to a quick-service experience, including; corporate events, on and off-site catering as well as pedal tours.

We are currently looking for a Banquet Chef to lead our catering division, Feastivities. This would include leading the team at our commissary kitchen at Ovation Ballroom in Thorold.

The Banquet Chef seeks to inspire cooperation and teamwork from management and associates by building a culture based on core values of respect of both clients and associates. They are responsible for championing a service culture of driving sales through attention to detail relative to quality of food, cleanliness and operational execution

The Banquet Chef ensures that the business and ethical reputation of the company, the associates that work for him/her and the ownership group are protected at all times.

The Banquet Chef will strive to achieve planned objectives, in the following areas:
- Food quality and consistency
- Execution Excellence on day of event.
- Achieve budgeted Division Operating Profit.
- Accurate and timely truck list completion.
- Organization of the entire facility.
- Set and maintain Standards of Operations through the achievement of quality and production targets.
- Manage subordinate performance through objective setting and regular effective evaluation.
- Establish timely and accurate communication in the building especially Culinary and FOH associates.
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are effectively communicated and followed in the building.

**Requirements**:

- 4 years of proven culinary leadership in a restaurant or catering environment with high food volume
- A background in banquets serving upwards of 200 people
- A track record of positive advancement within the industry
- A valid driver’s license
- Food handlers’ certificate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
