**Primary Objectives**:

- Maintain and improve CDC profitability and excellent customer service by:

- monitoring picking accuracy and delivery performance
- ensuring timely customer service to sales and branches about inbound shipments
- Ensure that all safety standards are met and exceeded as outlined in the Company Safety Manual
- Demonstrate personal responsibility and accountability with regard to daily job performance, attitude/professionalism & commitment to continuous development
- Support and promote the company’s Mission, Vision and Core Values
**Safety Accountabilities**:

- Use/wear any protective equipment, devices or clothing required by Marks Supply i.e. steel toed shoes or boots, cut resistant gloves, safety glasses, respirators-as applicable to the job
- Report to supervisor the absence of safety devices or any defect in any safety device/equipment that you are aware of, which could endanger yourself or others
- Report immediately to your supervisor: any contraventions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) or the Company Safety Policies, any accidents or incidents that occur, or the existence of any hazards you are aware of.
- Operate any necessary machinery or equipment safely in accordance with the safety rules and procedures for that equipment.
- Be aware of the common hazards in this position (following safety procedures and using caution): Ergonomic injuries, trips, slips, cuts, vehicle accidents while travelling for business
- Keep up to date on and follow company Health & Safety Policies & procedures.
- Ensure that all safety standards are met and exceeded as outlined in the OHSA and the Company Safety Manual.
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain the picking accuracy spreadsheet and communicate to the Shift Supervisors / Lead Hands on a daily basis
- Scanning and filing of packing slips
- Monitor and respond to the Receiving queue to ensure a timely response to sales people on requests regarding inbound shipments
- Retrieve/forward PODs (Proof of Deliveries) on request from sales and other branches
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of warehouse and logistics supplies such as: labels, shrink wrap, tape, DEF Fluid, windshield washer fluid, etc.
- Scheduling delivery appointments with inbound carriers
- Reviewing manifests for driver performance tracking
- Missed time calls due to driver error
- Unreported missed pickups
- Delivery error tracking
- Sorting and handing out any non-confidential correspondence to warehouse personnel/drivers
- Internal memos, handouts, CDTP, etc
- Mill test reports review and scanning
- Retrieval of the mill test reports for all inbound shipments and ensuring they are scanned and logged into Eclipse in a timely manner
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated customer service focus with the ability to work within a team environment to maintain mutually beneficial relationships with staff, customers and vendors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
- Proficient computer skills, i.e. Eclipse and MS Office (Word, XL, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated work accuracy and strong attention to details
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency to meet daily deadlines; able to work overtime as required to complete daily tasks or to assist department with a heavy workload
- Displays sound judgment and is able to make decisions on own
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to change tasks quickly as needed
- Self-motivated to look for new tasks when work is completed
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting
