**You as a Payroll Supervisor, Construction Hourly** **will**:
- Assist with all day-to-day aspects of the Payroll Department with a primary focus on the construction unionized population.
- Assist with running and overseeing the weekly construction unionized payroll that consists of 1,600 unionized employees and approximately 55 union locals.
- Responsible for overseeing four direct reports within the hourly construction unionized payroll as well as being part of a large payroll team.
- Responsible for over seeing all co-op students with on boarding and terminations each co-op term.
- Prepare statutory reporting and remittances.
- Review and approve monthly union reporting and related payments.
- Perform payroll accounting functions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Performs additional daily tasks that the Payroll Manager provides.
- Respond to inquiries from employees and other stake holders in a timely and professional manner.
- Work in a hands-on role, with significant individual preparation as well as review and oversight over the work of others.
**Is this the right role for you?**
- You have 5+ years of progressive payroll experience in a unionized environment.
- You have your Payroll Compliance Professional Designation through the National Payroll Association.
- You have supervisor experience or have had direct reports.
- You can read and interpret collective bargaining agreements and determine related payroll requirements.
- You can learn and adapt quickly in a new environment, working with mínimal supervision.
- You are detail oriented and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
- You are able to work at the office in-person located in London, ON.
